CIS Camera Structure
CIS (Contact Image Sensor) consists of a row of sensor IC, a rod lens and LED light source, etc. The light from LED reflects in the scanning object and being focused on the sensor element through the lens. CIS sensors from WHEC can work with external light source or integrated light.
CIS Sensors can be paired with different light source for various applications. An external light source can be used as reflection, or as transmission (backlight).
We can help you to choose the appropriate sensor and appropriate light sources for your application, and we also deliver the external lights, if needed, together with the sensors.
